Meet Carly Burke, who runs FRNT PAIGE, a creative marketing agency driven by her passion for content, collaboration, and bringing ideas to life. With a love for all things creative and a soft spot for Charleston, Carly is focused on growing her business, building meaningful connections, and exploring new opportunities. We spoke with Carly about entrepreneurship, finding creative inspiration, her favorite Charleston spots, and what’s next for FRNT PAIGE. Get to know Carly and discover her current favorites below.
1. Tell me about yourself.
My name is Carly Burke, and I’m from New Jersey. I attended the College of Charleston, where I earned my bachelor’s degree in Marketing. Charleston will always hold a special place in my heart, and I still have family and friends there, so I love any opportunity to go back and visit. After graduating, I quickly realized that the traditional corporate route wasn’t for me. I wanted to pursue something creative, entrepreneurial, and truly aligned with my passions.
That’s what led me to partner with my business partner to build FRNT PAIGE, a creative marketing agency, from the ground up. Being able to take an idea and turn it into something tangible has been incredibly rewarding, and I’m so passionate about what we’re building. I’m excited about the direction we’re heading and truly believe there is so much potential for us to grow. Outside of work, I love spending summers down at the Jersey Shore, being with my family and friends, and collaborating with brands to create fun, engaging content. I’ve always loved the intersection of creativity, marketing, and building relationships, and I’m excited to continue growing, meeting new people, and exploring opportunities that allow me to bring those passions together.
2. What is your LAUNE (mood)?
I would say my mood is usually very bubbly, upbeat, and positive! I’m naturally a happy person, and I think a lot of that comes from genuinely loving what I do and the people I get to work with. I love bringing good energy into a room, connecting with others, and making things fun and exciting. I’m definitely someone who tries to see the positive in every situation, and I think that enthusiasm naturally carries over into my work and the relationships I build with people.
3. What inspires you?
I’m really inspired by people who genuinely love what they do and are willing to put in the hard work every day to make their goals a reality. I love seeing people chase their passions, take risks, and build something they’re proud of. I think there’s something so motivating about being surrounded by people who have big dreams and the drive to make them happen. It reminds me to keep pushing myself, continue growing, and never lose sight of what I’m passionate about!
4. What are three staple items that every closet should have and why?
I would say three staple pieces every closet should have are a versatile cardigan, a great long-sleeve top, and a really good pair of jeans. I love a cardigan because it’s the perfect layering piece that can instantly pull an outfit together, whether you’re dressing up or keeping it casual. A great long-sleeve top is another must-have because you can style it so many different ways, from a casual everyday look to something a little more elevated for a night out. And lastly, a good pair of jeans is essential! Finding a pair that fits you well and makes you feel confident is key because denim is truly something you can wear year-round. I’m a big believer in having versatile basics that you can mix, match, and style in different ways to create so many different looks.
5. What drives your creative process and content?
My creative process is really driven by inspiration, collaboration, and staying curious about what’s new and exciting. I love using Pinterest to find inspiration, discover new trends, and explore different aesthetics or ideas that I can put my own spin on. I also love connecting with other creators and hearing about projects they’ve worked on, how they approach their content, and what inspires them. I think creativity grows so much when you share ideas and learn from the people around you. Ultimately, I love taking inspiration from different places and turning it into something that feels fresh, authentic, and true to the brand I’m working with!
6. What do you love about Charleston?
Charleston brings me so much joy because there is truly something so special about it. I love the energy, the people, the incredible food, and of course, the beautiful weather. There’s such a unique charm to the city that makes you feel happy just being there. It has such a fun, welcoming atmosphere, and I think the combination of the lifestyle, culture, and people is what makes it so special. Charleston will always hold a special place in my heart, and no matter how many times I go back, it never loses its magic. There really is nowhere else like it!
7. What’s next for you?
What’s next for me is continuing to grow FRNT PAIGE and expanding our presence into different cities while building relationships with amazing, like-minded people along the way. I love meeting people who inspire me, learning from their experiences, and finding new opportunities to collaborate and create something exciting. Eventually, one of my biggest goals is to have my own space in Charleston, which would be such a full-circle moment for me because of how much the city means to me. For now, I’m focused on continuing to build my business, growing my network, and saying yes to opportunities that challenge me creatively and help take FRNT PAIGE to the next level. I’m excited to see where it all leads!
