Having spent time in both New York City and Los Angeles, her perspective reflects a balance of each city’s influence, combining New York’s energy with LA’s ease.

1. Tell me about yourself.

Hii! My name is Sydney, and I’m a Los Angeles based content creator. What started as just sharing pieces of my life turned into my full-time job, which still feels a little surreal. My content focuses mostly on my outfits but extends into everything I love: travel, home, beauty, cooking, and my favorite places.

2. What is your LAUNE (mood)?

Figuring it out.

3. What inspires you?

A mix of everything! Vintage finds, pinterest, a really chic hotel, a random girl walking down the street, or even just a color combination I see somewhere. I’m very visual so I’m constantly saving things.

4. What are three staple items that every closet should have and why?

A great pair of jeans because you’ll wear them 100 different ways.
A really good jacket that instantly pulls everything together.
And a shoe that makes the outfit… something slightly unexpected that people notice.

5. What drives your creative process and content?

I try to create what I actually want to see. If I’m bored of something, I won’t post it. I think people can tell when something feels forced so I lean into what feels natural and exciting to me in the moment.

6. Having lived in both New York and Los Angeles, how would you compare the two?

New York makes you sharper, LA makes you softer. New York is fast, chaotic, and motivating. LA is slower, more laid back, and a bit more lifestyle driven. I pull from both constantly (but do miss my NYC life).

7. Which New York neighborhood has the best style?

Soho.

8. What’s next for you?

Growing my brand beyond just content creation. I'd love to be doing bigger collaborations with brands I actually love and be more involved in the creative side of it all.
