LAUNE x Regan Tyrrell
Meet Regan Tyrrell, a New York–based creative working at the intersection of fashion, content, and storytelling. Originally from Texas, her work is shaped by a strong sense of observation and an instinct for capturing mood and detail. Since moving to New York City, she’s found inspiration in the city’s rhythm—informing both her personal platforms and the brands she collaborates with.
Below, Regan shares more on her creative process, what inspires her, and what she’s building next with Raggy Studio.
1. Tell me about yourself.
Hi! My name is Regan. I grew up in Texas and graduated from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, where I studied Fashion Media. From early on, I was drawn to the creative and fashion space, and my career has naturally evolved within social media management and content creation.
At the end of 2024, I made the spontaneous decision to move to New York City to live with one of my best friends, and it ended up being one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Living here has expanded my perspective in so many ways. The energy of the city, the culture, fashion, restaurants, and the rhythm of everyday life constantly inspire the way I think, create, and observe the world around me.
Creating has always been my safe space. It’s where I feel most connected to myself. I’m deeply passionate about helping brands bring their ideas to life; refining how they show up visually, shaping their content, and translating their identity into something intentional and emotionally resonant.
At the same time, I love creating for myself. My personal platforms, especially TikTok and Instagram, are where I document my own point of view through fashion, food, travel, wellness, and the little details of everyday life.
2. What is your LAUNE (mood)?
My mood right now is intentional momentum. 2025 was an incredibly eye-opening year for me. After my career took an unexpected turn, I was forced to pause and really reevaluate what I wanted to build, what kind of work fulfills me, and where I feel most aligned creatively. I’m now in a season of choosing the work that feels most true to me. It’s requiring a lot of discipline, consistency, and a willingness to do things that feel unfamiliar or intimidating.
3. What inspires you?
What inspires me most is observation of everyday life. In High School, I had the incredible opportunity to start traveling abroad through Study Abroad Programs. This is when I was introduced to photography in many forms: street, still life, portrait, fashion .. to name a few. Photography taught me to slow down and pay attention to the details, find beauty in the most mundane things, and move through the world with curiosity. Living in New York City, the inspiration is endless!
4. What are three staple items that every closet should have and why?
First and foremost, a good pair of denim. I truly can’t express enough my deep love for denim. Finding a pair that fits you well and moves with you is the best feeling. You can dress them up or down. Create an endless amount of different outfits. & a really good pair will last you literally forever. I recommend Still Here, Frame or EB denim.
A good short sleeve tee. I feel like this is pretty straight forward. Find a 100% cotton one, and you can wear it forever. Some of my favorites are from Cou Cou Intimates, Plain Jane and Cotton Citizen.
A really good pair of simple earrings. I have a pair of white gold and diamond hoop earrings that have seen every version of me. They make you feel girly and add a subtle finishing touch to a look.
5. What drives your creative process and content?
A lot of my work starts with a feeling I want to preserve: this could be a memory, my atmosphere, a mood, or even the intimacy of the moment. From there, I translate it into something visual that feels emotionally resonant and timeless. As an only child and an introverted extrovert, I’ve also learned that solitude plays a huge role in my creativity. I need that alone time to recharge and reflect.
6. What do you love about New York?
Where do I begin? There’s a constant sense of movement here, in the people, the fashion, the restaurants, the streets, and the way every neighborhood has its own rhythm and point of view. New York has expanded the way I think creatively. It’s taught me to romanticize the ordinary: coffee runs, late-night walks, mornings in the city, dinners with friends. & to see those moments as part of a larger picture. I also love that the city pushes you. There’s an energy here that challenges you to grow, create bigger, and trust your instincts.
7. Which New York neighborhood has the best style?
The Lower East Side. Everyone has such a distinct point of view when it comes to style, and there’s a real sense of individuality. People aren’t afraid to experiment, and you rarely see anyone dressed the same.
8. What are you looking forward to in 2026?
What I’m most looking forward to in the rest of 2026 is continuing to step deeper into the life and career I’ve been building so intentionally. Starting my Creative Studio, Raggy Studio, where I am expanding my work in content, brand storytelling, and creative direction here in New York. More trust in my instincts, more creative risk-taking, and more opportunities that feel fully aligned with who I am and what I want to build long term. I’m also really looking forward to the personal side of it. More delicious restaurants, more travel with friends, more fashion, more inspiration, and just continuing to create.
9. What’s next for you?
I am continuing to build Raggy Studio into a fully realized creative space. Raggy Studio is rooted in my deep appreciation for the way brands exist visually in the world and how content shapes the way they are experienced.
